Agentic Development Training (Co-Trainer)

As co-trainer, I showed an international development team how agentic software development works in both greenfield projects and existing codebases.

01 / Starting point

About the project

Together with Obvious Works, I designed and delivered a two-day intensive workshop. Day one moved from idea to working application with Claude Code; day two applied the same approach to an existing codebase.

02 / Constraints

Requirements

Make the approach useful for both new applications and existing code, with permissions that participants can reason about.

03 / Implementation

Implementation

My contribution included a talk and live demo on context engineering, deep modules, and MODULE.md files as local context anchors. I also prepared practical guidance for safe Claude Code permissions.

I documented a six-layer agentic harness spanning governance through journaling. During hands-on sessions, I worked directly with participants on their own projects and tickets.

04 / Current state

The two-day workshop combined live demonstrations with work on participants’ own projects and tickets. The supporting material included permission guidance and a documented six-layer agentic harness.
